Process Cleaner

Cleaning of parts manually or machine-assisted throughout the repair and overhaul cycle of Aircraft engine and related accessories. The role is internally defined as Process Cleaner in the organization.

Tasks 
  1. Performs manual or machine-assisted cleaning of parts throughout the repair and overhaul cycle. 
  2. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Engine Cleaning
    • Parts Washing
    • Plastic beading
    • Flushing
    • Vibratory cleaning
    • Chemical stripping
    • Dry/wet abrasive grit blasting
  3. Performs concentration checks on tank solutions
  4. Performs shop practice audits to ensure cleaning line is audit compliant, clean and organized.
  5. Replenishment of Consumables & Chemicals
  6. Other duties as assigned
Requirements 
  • Candidate must possess a Grade 12 education with Chemistry as one of the subject
  • Experience of working with chemicals and exposure to personal protective equipment at work will be asset
  • Demonstrated manual dexterity and able to interpret technical instructions
  • Able to perform work on computer systems
  • Able to liaise with other Company personnel in a positive manner and work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Must be able to do shift work (6AM - 2PM & 2 PM - 10 PM).
  • Must be able to work overtime as required
