Tasks
- Work in accordance with established chemical industry/galvanizing work methods, requirements and procedures
- Proper handling of hazardous substances in accordance with environmental, he-alth and safety norms
- Etching, chrome plating and browning of components according to specifications
- Electrolytic and chemical removal of thermal coatings, metal plating of silver, chro-me and nickel
- Electrolytic coating of components with layers of silver, chromium and nickel
- Support wastewater activities, supply and disposal, especially basic cleaning, ma-intenance and quality assurance, control and adjustment.
- Preparation for processing of engine components and processing of manual repa-irs in accordance with applicable instructions as well as post processing of compo-nents
- Execution of simple heat treatment tasks
- Cleaning of engine parts in accordance with applicable regulations, requirements and instructions
- Proper handling of chemicals
- Setting up equipment for the task
- Measuring parts with standard process measuring equipment
- Execution of predefined automated processes in the software and monitoring their completion
- Preparing and filling out necessary work documentation
- Visual inspection & simple tests of repaired parts
- Equipment troubleshooting / restarting machines after troubleshooting / commision of mainained equipment /
- Adoption of new tools, repair methods, machinery, and equipment
- Following and meeting KPIs aligned with organizational goals
- Maintaining the workplace clean, organized, and ready for work
- Collaboration with colleagues to maintain quality, safety and production perfor-mance objectives at required levels
Requirements
- Experience in galvanization and wastewater treatment
- Office, Excel, preferably SAP
- Shift work
- Strong team player, high reliability, independent calculation execution, skilled craft skills, desirable methodical approach, ability to foresee in the context of the whole
- English language – technical knowledge, good verbal communication, understanding, reading
