MTU Aero Engines Polska is a leading aerospace and MTU Aero Engines AG company specialized in the production of aircraft engine components. Polish branch in Tajecina near Rzeszow is an integral part of the entire value chain, from engineering and technology (production engineering as well as design, analysis, project management, materials engineering) to production, assembly and repair.
Your responsibilities
- Administration and supporting firewall platforms (Fortinet FortiGate/FortiManager, Cisco ASA and Cisco Secure Firewall FTD/FMC)
- Monitor platform availability, performance, and capacity utilization
- Troubleshoot incidents, restore services and drive root cause analysis
- Implement approved changes and maintain firmware and configuration backups
- Coordinate vendor support cases, technical escalations and hardware replacement processes
- Maintain operational documentation
- Collaborate with networking, cloud, security, application and local IT teams
Our requirements
- Hands-on experience with firewall technologies and advanced network troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of at least one platform: Fortinet or Cisco; experience with both is a significant advantage
- Very good understanding of TCP/IP, routing, NAT, network segmentation, high availability and network security principles
- Experience with monitoring tools, log analysis, backup/restore procedures and configuration management
- Ability to perform technical diagnostics and collaborate with multiple teams and vendors
- Strong communication skills and good English in an international environment
- Team player and self-motivated
- Participate in on-call support rotations and planned maintenance windows
