Polish branch in Tajecina near Rzeszow is an integral part of the entire value chain, from engineering and technology (production engineering as well as design, analysis, project management, materials engineering) to production, assembly and repair.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience in working in an international aerospace company.
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, self-discipline, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure in a dynamic and fast-changing supply chain environment.
- Very good English (advanced level); German language will be considered an advantage.
- Good knowledge of SAP (Material Master) and basic technical drawing interpretation.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail regarding specifications, standards, and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel for business purposes. Valid Category B driving license.
Responsibilities:
- Manage suppliers of various commodities - finished parts and raw materials. Ensure on-time delivery in compliance with quality and quantity requirements.
- Develop and evaluate suppliers in terms of delivery performance, quality, innovation, sustainability, technical capabilities, and other key criteria.
- Lead and support RFQ and RFI processes for MTU Polska and MTU Aero Engines AG.
- Negotiate and prepare commercial agreements.
- Manage inventory levels both within the company and at suppliers’ locations.
- Prepare, organize, and lead supplier meetings and workshops.
- Participate in and lead projects aimed at improving purchasing and logistics processes within the company and across the supply base.
- Cooperate closely with cross-functional teams, including Supplier Quality, IT, Engineering & Technology, Logistics, Production, Maintenance, and Finance.
